Training in curative education and social therapy on an anthroposophical basis is available in many countries. Depending on centre and country, it leads to different professional designations, Heilpädagoge oder Heilerziehungspfleger in Germany, Heilpädagoge or Sozialpädagoge in Switzerland, and other terms in other countries.

What they all have in common is the 'trinal method' unity of theory, practice and art, with training seen as a path where it matters

to learn to understand the child, the young person or the adult,
offer the things they need,
and be able to respond creatively to the given situation

Professional Profile: Curative teachers and social therapists are needed wherever children, young people and adults with disabilities require special help and support in their development.
Network: Collaboration among the many training centres is the function of the Training Group of the Curative Education and Social Therapy Council
Recognition in the network of training centres: Recognition by the Medical Section / Curative Education and Social Therapy Council implies that the curriculum and methods of a training course are in accord with training in anthroposophical curative education and social therapy.
