Collaboration among training centres for anthroposophical curative education and social therapy
Many training issues have to be considered on a common basis. The Training Group of the Curative Education and Social Therapy Council provides the focus for the relevant network. An international conference of all training centres is held once a year, and work is currently in progress to optimize the structures for collaboration and the level of commitment.
Common basis
Trinal method of training, bringing together theory, practice and art. This is based on the Handbook for Training in Curative education and Social Therapy.
General functions
- Further development of the basis and methods for anthroposophical curative education and social therapy and everything connected with training
- Comparability of and recognition given to training courses
- Quality development in training centres
- Representing the professional profile of the anthroposophical curative teacher and social therapist in the general professional field
- Development, maintenance and updating of appropriate international network structures
Current work
- Support for new training centres
- Developing and determining criteria for comparability and recognition
- Developing further training facilities for teachers and practice mentors
The responsibility for coordination of international collaboration lies with the Training Group of the Curative Education and Social Therapy Council in the Medical Section at the Goetheanum, Dornach, Switzerland.
