International Conference for Curative Education and Social Therapy
4 to 8 October 2010 Goetheanum Dornach
We warmly invite you
to the international conference in curative education and social therapy at the Goetheanum in Dornach.
Origin of consciousness – Insight into the human being
The riddle of consciousness is a key question in contemporary life. Where does it come from? Does it derive from biological functions or from the spirit which expresses itself through the body?
Awakening of consciousness – Curative education
Individual consciousness gradually develops throughout childhood. This is a complex, powerful but also fragile process.
Encounter and consciousness – Social therapy
Consciousness forms through engagement with life’s experiences and in dialog with others. As a process of giving and taking, it is a basis for social development.
Developing consciousness – The nature of contemporary life
Consciousness develops in a future-orientated, open way. It is the precondition for thinking and action that is both individual and social, global and local, and focused and peripheral.
Lectures by Dr. Michaela Glöckler, Andreas Fischer, Prof. Dr. Dr. Thomas Fuchs, Dr. Roland Halfen, Penelope Roberts-Baring, Prof. Dr. Peter Selg
