To bind yourself is to connect with people and the world. Bonding also involves finding yourself at home in your own body. The basis for secure bonding is established in the first five years of life. Yet the process of connecting with the world and other people also plays a major role in further life. The focus in the workshop will be on practising therapeutic methods in working with children and adults who have bonding problems.
Truida de Raaf is a health psychologist, Martin Niemeijer a physician. Both are from the Netherlands and work in practice, in training and in research.
